Various parks or sections of parks have a fee attached for exclusive use by private parties. The fee allows the group to establish a specific area for special events such as weddings, reunions, concerts, and personal instruction.
The fees for the park facilities listed below are $20.00 per half day and $40.00 per day plus a $50.00 refundable damage deposit. If electricity is required there is an additional $5.00 charge.
Horse Country Arena
Horse Country Arena is a facility that is available to horse owners to reserve as a rental for events, and also has open times for horse training. The scheduled maintenance hours are 9:00 a.m. to noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Riley Pavilion / Cleland Park - 8th & Howard Streets
Clevland Park offers a large pavilion, volleyball courts, six lighted tennis courts, children's playground equipment and several acres of picnic sites. One of the newest features of the park comes from the passing of old trees that now have a presence as a chainsaw sculptured tree garden. The park is the primary location for Deltarado Days, an annual community festival.
Confluence Park - Kellog Street (off of N. Palmer Street)
This park is 265 acres; recreation center, living history museum, 5 miles of trails, picnic shelters, large group pavilion, 350 seat skate park,70 acre lake, tennis courts, desingated wildfowl area. There is also a ball field complex that features T-ball, pitching league, little ladies softball, soccer and flag football.
Lions Pavilion - Confluence Park - N. Palmer Street
Lion Pavilion may be rented for events. There are tables, electricity and a play structure.
Park Shelters - Various Parks
Parks Shelters may be rented for events.
Pow Wow Arbor
Located across from the Bill Heddles Recreation Center.
Bob Jay Park - 4th & Columbia Streets
2 acres, playground, picnic tables and outdoor basketball court.
Mountain View Park - F25 Road
Mountain View Park is the site of three lighted softball fields that host all City programmed softball teams, slow pitch and fast pitch, along with the Delta High School girl's softball team. 39.5 acres; softball & baseball fields, playground, restrooms, picnic shelters.Loreps sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit.
Cottonwood Park - H75 Rd & 1675 Rd
Cottonwood Park, which was formerly Cottonwood Golf Course, will soon be the location of three full conference size soccer fields. It is a 64 acre parcel owned by the City of Delta.
Tamarac Park - 12th & Bluff Streets
7.5 acres; a formal as well as natural setting located under the Garnet Mesa Bluff.
