Facility & Pool Hours
The Bill Heddles Recreation Center offers a wide variety of indoor recreation amenities under one roof. We have four swimming pools, including a lap pool, a warm-water leisure pool with lazy river, a shallow water toddler pool and a hot tub. The center also has a dry sauna, basketball gym, racquetball courts, and a multi use weight room. We have meeting room spaces available for event rental, a full cardio studio with spin bikes and a spacious lobby with pool tables and children's play area. Programs and activities offered by the Delta Recreation Center include; youth & adult sports, senior classes & trips, land and water fitness classes, youth activities, pickleball, swim lessons, and personal training.
BILL HEDDLES RECREATION CENTER FACILITY RULES
- All visitors/participants must check in at the Front Desk
- Fees required for admission, loitering is prohibited
- All visitors agree to the CODE OF CONDUCT
- A guardian, 16 or older must accompany children under the age of 10 at all times
- No alcohol, tobacco or vape pens allowed in the facility
- The use of profanity, profane gestures, and harassment of any kind is prohibited
- Food & drinks are not permitted in the racquetball courts, locker rooms, and hallways (sealed lids only)
AQUATICS RULES
- G rated pool environment including swimwear
- No glass containers
- All ages may enter the aquatics facility during open swim
- Children under 3' tall (in toddler pool), 4' tall (in Wellness pool/Lazy river) and 4 1/2' tall (for the basketball area of the Main Pool) must have an adult, 18+, swimming with them in the water at all times or pass the swim test. Adult must be within an arm reach in the Wellness and Main pool
- Swim test may be required for access to some sections of the aquatics area
- Must be 18+ to utilize the hot tub and sauna
- All non-toilet trained swimmers must wear a swim diaper
FITNESS RULES
- Ages 15 + do not have any age restrictions in the weight room
- Ages 13 - 14 need to have the Youth Weight Room Privileges Contract signed and then they are allowed in the free weights area
- Ages 10 - 12 cannot be in the free weight area, but can utilize the cardio and circuit rooms if they have signed the Youth Weight Room Privileges Contract and they are accompanied by an adult guardian (siblings do not count)
- Age requirement for fitness classes is 13
The staff has the authority to stop any behavior they determine is unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful, and distracting. Failure to follow these rules and the Code of Conduct will result in Rec privileges being revoked.
