Opera House Pocket Park
The Opera House pocket park was built to fill an unattractive empty space in a section of Main St. The mural was painted to point back to a time in the past when an opera/theater area was in the upper level of the adjacent building. That space was lost to a structure fire earlier in the 1900's. The bike sculpture represents a bike shop that was once in the void the park currently occupies. A water feature/sculpture creates a peaceful sound and artistic flair to this urban oasis.
