*IN CASES OF AN  EMERGENCY DIAL 911*

For all instances where you need law enforcement, the fire department, and/or medical assistance immediately, DIAL 911.  You will immediately be put in contact with a 911 dispatcher.  If possible, be prepared to give the dispatcher your name, phone number and location.  This is automatic for all landline calls, but not every cell phone will come up in the system.

Non-Emergency Incidents:

In situations where an officer is needed to file a non-emergent report, or you simply need assistance from an officer; there are a few options available to you.  First, you can come into the police department and simply request to speak with an officer.  During our normal business hours of Monday through Thursday 7:30am to 5pm there will be someone at the window in the lobby to assist you.   After business hours you can push the "emergency phone button" located on the wall just outside our front doors.  This will connect you directly to the Delta County Communications Center.  From your home, or other location you can call one of two phone numbers to request an officer.  During business hours, you can call (970)874-7676.  This is the Delta Police Department's office phone.  One of the staff members answering the phone will gladly assist you.  The second number is (970)874-2015.  This is a non-emergency phone number directly to the Delta County Communications Center.  The Delta County Communications Center dispatches for all Delta Police Officers.

Crime Stoppers:

Individuals can also report crimes or give information on crimes through Crime Stoppers.  Callers will remain anonymous when giving information through this line.  To utilize crime stoppers in Delta County call (970) 874-8810.
